“Look at the nations and watch and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe even if you were told.” Habakkuk 1:5
We have been taking some time to pray with a group of other believers over the first 21 days of the new year. In a recent Bible study, I was reminded that sailors prepare for the storm prior to going out to sea. How ridiculous would it be for a sailor to never expect a storm or be shocked and surprised when a storm arose? Our lives are very much the same. Storms are coming at some point and we need to prepare ourselves as much as possible. During this time of prayer, I have been praying for those of you who support us. This is not a one-way street. We are a team. I am constantly thanking God for the support we receive and how He is using each one of us to further His kingdom.
It is important to look forward, but also encouraging to look back. Because of your support, we were able to bless several local families this year and encourage and mentor our sports ministry.
Greg has been able to go deeper with relationships in the medical department. He really enjoys talking with the kids and getting a glimpse of what life looks like through their eyes.
One of the duties that I enjoy assisting with is home visits for kids at our care points. Most of the time, these kids are identified by a shepherd (care point supervisor) and a request is made to take food and sometimes clothing to their homestead. In our garage, we collect leftovers from team distributions and team members. When the need arises, the shepherd distributes these supplies. I love putting together outfits and hygiene bags for these little ones. I pray that God provides for their needs and blesses them through this simple donation. This past year, as an organization, we were able to do 725 home visits!
Swazi Rocks has had a busy year too. They sold 1,856 cards and over 200 Africa shaped stickers and a variety of other items. They have been able to help four kids at various care points this year with medical issues. If you are not familiar with Swazi Rocks, check them out on Facebook or at swazirocks.wordpress.com.
A friend recently told me…you are blessed to be a blessing.
Thank you for your support that allows us to hopefully bless those around us! I am excited to see what God has in store for you and for us…you may not believe it even if you were told!

P.S. Speaking of looking forward, our 4th annual Sweets for Swazi fundraiser is just around the corner on March 4th. Check out facebook.com/sweetsforswazi for more information.
